The WEFE Program aims to advance cutting-edge scientific and applied research in the fields of Water, Energy, Food, and Ecosystems, while fostering partnerships with local communities and national and international institutions. It supports sustainable development and enhances resilience to climate challenges.
The program adopts a participatory approach, collaborating closely with local community institutions and regional and international organizations to develop a comprehensive communication strategy. This strategy contributes to the establishment of developmental research programs and practical projects that enhance sustainable development and strengthen water and food security for rural communities in the Jordanian Badia.

Current Projects and Activities :

Establishment of a training center for soilless agriculture, integrated with a rainwater harvesting system from building rooftops and landscape gardening - Al-Safawi Station.

- Soilless demonstration site and Innovation center-Safawi.
- Rainwater harvesting from building rooftops.
- Landscape design and garden establishment.
